Appetizer Dips

Party DipQuick appetizer dips that are made from dry soup mixes are easy and economical. This is the ultimate “ I need something yesterday” appetizer. I remember getting ready for a party one time and I had forgotten to make something to bring.
So I grabbed a bowl and a spoon and drove to the grocery store on the way to the party. After buying the sour cream and soup mix, I proceeded to make the chip dip recipe while sitting in the car. I showed up to the party with a great tasting dip.
Whew!…saved by a quick party dip.

The two most popular soup mixes to use are onion and vegetable. However, we are sure that you can use just about any mix available. It is just a matter of what flavor you are in the mood for.

Party Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 – tablespoons of a dried soup mix.
  • 1 1/2 – cups of sour cream.

Preparation:

  1. Mix the ingredients together in a bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour to let the flavors blend together.

Serve with vegetables, crackers or your favorite chip.

Appetizer Dip Tip:

Don’t forget to add some color to your dips. Some diced tomatoes or chopped carrots sprinkled on top of your dip will add pleasing color to your quick party dips. You can also add more soup mix than the recipe calls for if you would like a stronger tasting dip.
