Appetizer Kabobs are an inexpensive and colorful Finger Food.
We have suggested some traditional ingredients to use but you can use whatever flavor combination you like.
Hmmm... how about some strawberries and Honey Dew melon instead of pineapple.
Maybe some cubes of cheddar cheese or cut up some cubes of cream cheese and salami.
We always like to experiment with the flavors. Looking for great flavor combinations is part of the fun. Your guests will love your creativity. One combination we tried recently was cubes of cream cheese, chunks of smoked salmon and pieces of bagel. We called it a Bagel Stick. Our guests loved them. You can also try some maraschino cherries, cubes of salami and chunks of sweet pickles. It satisfies that sweet/salt craving that we like so much.
I guess the list is endless. Just have fun with it and put your favorite flavor combinations together on a some bamboo shish kabob skewers or toothpicks. It's also a good idea to snip off the pointy end of the toothpicks so no one jabs themselves.
