Baked Onion Dip

 

Baked Onion DipIf you are an onion-lover like my family is, then you will enjoy this easy dip recipe. Baked Onion Dip is a tasty blend of sweet onion, Cheddar, mayo and Parmesan, baked until bubbly and golden, makes a delightful appetizer for your party or family get-together.
Some people like this cheesy hot dip so much that they can't tear themselves away from the appetizer table to eat their dinner. Simply serve with an assortment of crackers and breads.

 

Baked Onion Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups chopped sweet onion
  • 2 cups mayonnaise

 

 

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Lightly grease a 1 quart baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise and sweet onion.
  4. Transfer to the baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven 40 to 45 minutes, or until onions are tender and the mixture is bubbly and lightly browned.
