Black Bean Dip

bean dipThere is lots of flavor in this Black Bean Dip. It's one of our favorite recipes.
The combination of Black Beans, onions, garlic and lime juice blend together to produce a flavorful low fat appetizer for you and your guests.

Instead of giving our kids cookies and other sweet foods when they come home from school, we make this dip and other healthy foods as an afternoon snack for our kids.

If you are watching your fat intake, then watch out for the type of chips that you use with this dip. Some tortilla chips are high in saturated and trans fats. Especially the ones made with lard.

  2. Combine the remaining can of beans and other ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring until well blended.
  3. Let stand 30 minutes.
  4. Serve with baked tortilla chips.
