Beer Cheese Dip

Beer Cheese Dip
Beer and cheese combined for a football party dip. Need we say more!
Beer cheese Dip is easy to make and tastes like a cheese fondue but don't call it that or none of the guys will try it.
This recipe should be kept in a crock pot and kept warm. The amount of Tobasco sauce you add depends on your guests heat tolerance.
Some people don't like the taste of Tobasco, in which case you can use any hot pepper sauce you like.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 lb. process cheese loaf, cut into cubes (Velveeta)

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients in 1-2 quart slow cooker.

Cover and cook on HIGH for 40 minutes until cheese melts.

Stir until mixture is smooth. Scrape down cooker sides.

Turn heat to LOW. Dip will hold for 4 hours if you stir it occasionally.

Serve with pretzels, bread cubes, or crackers.

Sleep 'til you're hungry, eat 'til you're sleepy
