Candied Pecans

Candied PecansCandied Pecans are delicious and really easy to make. I like to munch on them with a cup of coffee.

We can’t make enough of them for parties, they disappear very quickly. This appetizer can be made ahead of time and put into a sealed bag for storage or they can be served immediately after they have cooled out of the oven. The recipe calls for using cinnamon for flavor but I also add some ground nutmeg.

Candied Pecan Tip:

If you have the time, make an extra batch of Candied Pecans for your guests to take home. Wrap a handful in some colored plastic wrap and tie the top with a ribbon.

Let's face it, Americans are fat all year round, but the holidays are when we really hit our stride. And you can bet the food we eat will be just as unhealthy as the families we're forced to visit.
