Chex Mix Recipe

chex mix recipeThis Chex Mix Recipe is over 50 years old and it's still a great party finger food. Many years ago before microwave ovens, we used to make this Chex snack mix in a conventional oven but since the microwave method is so much faster, it is the only version we have listed.

You don't have to use exactly 3 cups of each variety of Chex cereal. As long as you use 9 cups you can mix and match all you want.

For the holidays we mix in colored m&m's. Orange for Halloween, red and green for Christmas.
