Crab Dip Recipes

Not Gone!
We put out the crab dip after all the guests arrive so that eveyone has an equal chance of getting some. We would like to make four times the amount but crab meat is expensive when serving a lot of people.

Cajun Crab Dip
Ingredients:
- 2 (8 ounce) packages softened cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 2 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat drained and cartilage removed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- Crackers for Serving
Preparation:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened Cream Cheese,
- Horseradish, Worcestershire and Hot Pepper Sauce; mix well.
- Stir in Crab and chopped Onion.
- Spoon into a greased 1-qt. baking dish.
- Toss Bread Crumbs together with Parmesan Cheese and
- Paprika; sprinkle over top.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until edges are bubbly.
- Serve warm with your favorite crackers.
Maryland Crab Dip
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided in half
- 3/4 cup high quality mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Old Bay® Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
- 1 pound lump crabmeat
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Mix half of the cheese, mayonnaise, Old Bay seasoning,
- Worcestershire sauce, and dry mustard until blended.
- Gently stir in crabmeat.
- Put mixture into 1-quart casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the other half of cheese on top
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until dip begins to bubble around edges.
- Serve hot.
Hot Crab Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat with shell bits removed
- 1 cup grated pepper jack cheese
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Parmesan grated
- 1/4 cup minced green onions
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 3 Tbls Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbls fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 tsp Salt and pepper
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Combine all of the ingredients in a casserole dish and gently mix thoroughly
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Serve with crackers
