This Fruit Salsa is one of our favorite low fat fruit dessert recipes. Every time we serve this salsa it gets gobbled up in no time. To speed up preparation time we used an egg slicer to cut the strawberries. Put a strawberry in and slice it once. Then turn the strawberry around and slice again to get cubes. We also used this method for dicing the kiwi. You can also dip the diced apples into a bowl with some Sprite soda to prevent them from turning brown. Lemon juice will work also.
You may be asking what we use to scoop into the salsa. A bag of salty tortilla chips works fine for regualar salsa. For fruit salsa we use Cinnamon Pita Chips, which you can buy in the store or make yourself. If you want the recipe go to this link. Cinnamon Pita Chips
