Ghost Cookies
Ghost Cookies are an easy Halloween cookie recipe. Just three ingredients and you are ready to go. The chocolate coating melts in the microwave and the cookies are pre-made from the store. The Nutter Butter cookies are shaped just right to look like a ghost. The white chocoate coating we used hardens at room temperature. It will harden faster when you put them in the refrigerator.
A word of caution; the cookies are made with peanut butter. If you are taking these to a party or school you may want to ask first if you can bring baked goods made with peanut butter. People with peanut allergies can have serious health issues when exposed to peanuts.
Ghost Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. of Nutter Butter Cookies
- 1pkg. of White Chocolate Coating. We used (Candy Quick brand). Found it at Walmart.
- 1 Tube of Black decorating icing.

Preparation:
- Lay out some wax paper on a table.
- Heat the white chocolate coating in a microwave safe bowl. (See package for heating times). We used just half of the chocolate first. It depends on how many cookies you are going to make.
- We put one cookie in at a time and spooned the chocolate over the cookie. (See pictures below)
- Place covered cookies on the wax paper and let them cool.
- Use a tube of black decorating icing to draw the faces.
