This Grape Jelly Meatballs recipe is just the thing to make when you don't have a lot of time to prepare food. I know that the ingredients sound kind of weird but trust me, once you add the chili sauce and lemon, all the flavors come together nicely.
I admit that I used to make all of my own meatballs from scratch since the frozen kind you can buy at the grocery store tasted pretty bad. However, a friend of ours said that Costco had frozen meatballs that were very tasty. So, I tried them with this recipe for a Christmas party and they actually tasted very good.
I know that everyone doesn't have a Costco near them but if you do, these are worth a try. Not having to make meatballs anymore takes most of the preparation time out of this recipe. You can make this recipe on the stove or put everything in a slow cooker and let them simmer for a few hours. The great thing about making these in a slow cooker is that you can set it on low heat to keep them warm during your party.
These also make a great meal for your family. We usually cook up a batch on the stove along with some rice. Dinner in 20 minutes and our kids love them. It doesn't get any better than that.
