Hamburger Chip Dip

 

hamburger dipThere is something comforting about a warm and gooey party dip and this Hamburger Chip Dip is as cheesy and comforting as it gets.

The ingredients are simple and it is very easy to put together. We make this tasty finger food for most of our parties and it is very difficult to keep our family out of it before the guests arrive.

In the preparation section, we have given instructions for making this in a crockpot. You could also melt everything together in a pot on the stove if you wanted to. Just make sure that you stir it occasionally to prevent the cheese from sticking to the bottom and the sides.

Hamburger Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can Rotel hot tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

 

Preparation:

  1. Brown meat and drain grease.
  2. Put all ingredients in crock pot and heat on high until all cheese is melted.
  3. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking.
  4. Turn down to low to keep dip warm.
  5. Serve with chips
