During the holiday season, well... any time of the year it is easy to indulge with everyone else and dig into all of those wonderful finger foods. So, what about the rest of us who are trying to stay healthy and watch our weight?

Low fat cooking isn't difficult and these recipes are suitable for any healthy low fat diet. Most of the time the recipe doesn't change, we have just found healthier substitutions for some of the ingredients. Most of these are not fat free appetizers, we are just trying to reduce the fat and calorie amounts. With proper planning and a few ingredient substitutions, you can enjoy most of your favorite finger foods. We do the same thing with the snacks we serve our kids. I call it "Stealth Nutrition".
