Mexican Bean Dip

Mexican Bean DipThere’s nothing like a warm cheesy Warm Mexican Bean Dip. It's our favorite Refried bean dip recipe on this site.

It won't win any beauty awards but the great taste makes up for that.

You can mix this up very quickly for a party or family get-together. Sometimes we add an extra half cup of Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese to make it even cheesier.

The type of salsa you add will determine how spicy your dip is. We have found that a medium salsa is a good spice level. We have also split this dip up into two different bowls and made one mild and one hot. Just make sure to label which one is hot.

Refried Bean Tip:

When you are in the store read the ingredients on the back of the refried bean can. You will most likely see that it contains Lard. Lard is rendered pig fat. If you want to avoid this ingredient buy the Vegetarian or No Fat refried beans.
