Mexican Cheese Dip

Mexican Cheese Dip

Ground beef and Picante sauce make this Mexican Cheese Dip a fiesta for your mouth. It's warm and creamy with just the right mix of flavors. Our friends are always requesting that we make this appetizer. It will definitely disappear fast.

We have suggested in the recipe to drain the jar of salsa. We have found that if we don't do this, it ends up tasting too much like salsa. However, if you like the extra salsa flavor, you can always drain the salsa into a bowl and add the liquid a little at a time until it is just right for your taste.

It is a good idea to serve this in a crockpot set to low in order to keep it warm for serving.
