Microwave Peanut Brittle

Peanut BrittleOur kids love peanut brittle. We usually make Microwave Peanut Brittle for the holidays. It's a great recipe for some quick Christmas party food.

After making homemade peanut brittle this way for the first time we were convinced that this was the only way to make it. It cooks up very fast and can be stored in plastic containers until you need it.

We ran out during our Christmas party last year. So I went into the kitchen and had some more ready in 45 minutes.

We like to make little take-away gifts for our guests. I use some small gift bags with decorative paper put inside. We fill them with all kinds of homemade goodies like peanut brittle, cookies, spiced nuts, and some pumpkin fudge. Our guests really appreciate the extra effort we put into them.
