Christmas Party Punch

Made With Eggnog and Peppermint Ice Cream

Party PunchTake your party to the next level with a Christmas Party Punch. The mixture of peppermint ice cream, gingerale and eggnog is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

We really like this recipe because it's so easy to make with just three ingredients. It takes no time at all to replenish the punch bowl so we can get on with enjoying the party.

You can put the ice cream in the punch as one big chunk or you can add it in as individual scoops that will float on top. You can also decorate the tops of the floating ice cream with some maraschino cherries. One year I caught our youngest son scooping the ice cream out of the punch and into his cup so he could eat it. Sneaky little guy!

We usually borrow a punch bowl from my sister so that we can have a second one ready to make when the first one gets too low.

To add a nice visual touch, try hanging candy canes around the rim of your punch bowl. You can also put some garland around the base of the punch bowl and add some small ornaments or even a string of mini lights.
