Pigs In A Blanket

These Are a Big Hit at Any Party

Pigs In A Blanket

What can we say about Pigs in a Blanket? You either love them or you think they are tacky.
Quick and delicious, they are a classic finger food for any type of party.
They taste even better when you serve them with some dipping sauces. We serve them with Honey Mustard, BBQ, Ranch and Buffalo Wing sauces.

I went to a party last year where the host had hidden a dab of Wasabi into each one before he cooked them. Wow! A surprise in every bite. My sinuses were clear for the rest of the week.

This has me thinking of different things that could be rolled up in the crescent dough to add different flavors. I thought that some chopped green onion might do well. Coating the inside of the dough with some pesto might give them a nice flavor also. I suppose I will just have to experiment.

        Pigs in a Blanket Tip:

You can serve these plain or with your favorite dipping sauce. You can also fill some individual small serving cups with Mustard, Barbeque sauce and Ketchup. That way you give your guests a variety to choose from.

Eating rice cakes is like chewing on a foam coffee cup, only less filling.
