Pumpkin Cookie Dip
Pumpkin cookie dip is a delicious dessert appetizer for the holidays. After the big meal most people are too full for dessert. We have found that a cookie or two really hits the spot when your guests are craving something sweet.
This dip can make a plain store bought cookie taste like something special. It has a nice flavor that goes well with all kinds of cookies. They also go well with Cinnamon Pita Chips which you can make yourself.
I you would like to try something different then put this dip into a small hollowed out pumpkin. You could also try a squash or any other firm fruit or vegetable.
Pumpkin Cookie Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 - 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 2 - cups confectioners sugar
- 1 - 15 ounce can solid pack pumpkin
- 1 - tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 - tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 - teaspoon frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 – box of ginger snaps or an assortment of different cookies.

Preparation:
- First take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator to soften.
- In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth.
- Gradually mix in the pumpkin.
- Stir in the cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and orange juice until smooth and well blended.
- Chill until you are ready to serve.
