Ranch Bean Dip

Wake Up Your Taste Buds

Bean DipLooks aren’t everything and Ranch Bean Dip isn’t very attractive. However, what it lacks in good looks, it more than makes up for with awesome flavor.

Most people want to know what it is before they will eat it. Once tasted, they want to know the recipe.

We use just half of the Ranch Dressing package in this bean dip to start off with. We found that any more than that overpowers the rest of the flavors. However, you may want a more intense Ranch flavor, so after eveything cooks and blends together, taste it and see if you want to add more.

Here is something you might want to know about refried beans. Most of the refried beans you find at your store are made with Lard. This is rendered pig fat. If you want to avoid Lard in your dip, then look for the vegetarian version of beans. We switched over to this version and we couldn't tell any difference in flavor.

If you want to make this dip even healthier, then switch over to a low fat cheddar cheese and sour cream.
