Sausage Con Queso

Cheese and Sausage in a Spicy Dip

sausage con queso dipMmmmm... A warm spicy cheese queso dip that is sure to please your guests. We have been making Sausage Con Queso dip for years. It has a nice blend of flavors that has always been a popular Mexican party recipe with our guests.
You can provide your favorite chips for dipping, cubes of bread or raw veggies.

Or you could follow my cousins' lead and make a Sausage Con Queso sandwich. He will make a sandwich out of anything.

My football buddies like to use this dip for making nachos. It has the perfect blend of flavors to pour over tortilla chips. I just have to remember to make twice as much when they come over for a game. I should probably start collecting a cover charge to pay for all of the food they eat.

You can keep this Queso dip warm in a crockpot on the low setting. Remember to stir it once in a while so it doesn't burn on the bottom. You could also serve it in a bowl and heat it periodically for 30 seconds in the microwave when it starts to get cool.
