Spider Cookies

Spider Cookies are a quick and easy Halloween cookie recipe. Just three ingredients are necessary to make them. It's a great last minute recipe for school parties or for your kids at home.

If you want to take this recipe a step further you can dip the pretzels in a chocolate coating before inserting them into the cookie. This makes them look more like spider legs.

Another option for the legs is to use black licorice strings.

Spider Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pkg. of Double Stuff Oreo Cookies (we used the kind with the chocolate middles)
1pkg. of stick shaped pretzels.
1 Tube of Red decorating icing.

Preparation:

Insert stick shaped pretzels in the sides of the Oreo cookies. (three per side). We used the double stuffed kind of Oreo so that there is more room for the pretzels.
Make the eyes using a tube of red decorating icing.
