Spinach Appetizer Dip

 

Spinach DipSpinach Appetizer dip is one of those appetizers that you see at almost every party or family gathering. It is easy to make and it lets people serve themselves, which cuts down on the prep time for you.
When we see spinach dip, 99% of the time it is served in a bowl made out of a hollowed out round loaf of bread. If time is an issue, don’t feel pressured to do the bread bowl thing. It will be just as delicious if you put the dip in a regular bowl and provide chips or crackers with it.

 

Spinach Appetizer Dip Recipe



Ingredients:

  • 1 - packet dry vegetable soup mix
  • 1 - 16 ounce container sour cream
  • 1 - 10 ounce package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 - 1 pound loaf of round bread

 

Preparation:

  1. In a medium bowl, blend dry vegetable soup mix, sour cream and spinach.
  2. Remove top and insides of the bread loaf, creating a bread bowl. Keep the removed bread.
  3. Spoon the dry vegetable soup mix, sour cream and spinach mixture into the bread bowl.

Serve with the bread pieces you removed from the center with for dipping.


Spinach Dip Tip:

Add some color to your spinach appetizer. You can dice some tomatoes, cheese or carrots and sprinkle them on top of your dip to add that professional touch.
