Strawberry Cheesecake Dip

Strawberry Cheesecake Dip is a yummy strawberry dessert recipe. Whether it is a party for 20 or an intimate party for two, this recipe will be a hit. This dessert dip makes a nice addition to any party for those who are looking for something sweet but don't want a huge piece of cake or pie. Plus, it goes with just about any kind of fruit that you can dip with and it goes really well with cinnamon pita chips.

If you feel like getting really creative you can slice some strawberries in half and scoop out the middle of the strawberry with a melon scooper. Then spoon some dip into the hollowed out strawberry and top with a single blueberry or chocolate chip. This makes a nice display for parties when you want to make a special impression. If you don't want to go out and buy orange liquer just for this recipe you can substitute with some orange extract.

So visit your favorite strawberry patch and mix up a batch of this delicious dessert dip.

 

 

Cheesecake Dip Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 16 – oz. softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 – cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 – cup sugar
  • 1/4 – cup light sour cream
  • 1 – Tbls orange liqueur
  • 1 – tsp vanilla extract

 

 

Preparation:

  1. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, strawberries, sugar, vanilla and orange liqueur in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Pour into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
  3. Keep in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  4. Serve with fresh strawberries, pineapple, chocolate or vanilla pound cake cubes, waffle cookies, or assorted chocolates for dipping.
