Taco Dip
Make This Zesty Layered Taco Dip For Your Next Party

This is an easy Taco Dip to make and it's a winner at all of our parties. Just mix a few ingredients and you have some quick party food for your guests.
Some taco seasonings are stronger than others. So when you are mixing the cream cheese and sour cream together, just add 1/2 package of seasoning first. After it is mixed then taste it to see if you want to add more. We have on occasion ended up with a mixture that was too strong and it over powered the other ingredients.
Another thing to consider is the heat level of your seasoning mix and salsa you use. They are both sold in mild, medium and hot. So consider who is eating it and how spicy it should be. Another thing we do with the salsa is to drain it in a colander before adding it to the dip. This will prevent your dip from becoming a watery mess.
Here is a handy tip: When you are ready to chop the green onion, use a pair of scissors to cut across the bunch in 1/4 inch slices. This makes cutting green onions a lot faster.
