Tuna Dip
A Great Party Dip To Serve Your Guests
Tuna dip is an easy and inexpensive appetizer to make. You might want to keep a bottle of hot sauce next to the bowl of tuna dip in case some people want to shake some on their cracker and kick it up a notch.
My brother loves to spoon a bit of tuna dip on a cracker, then shake a few drops of hot sauce on top. He frequently eats this for lunch on the weekends. Our youngest son likes to join him. They will have contests to see who can stand putting the most hot sauce on theirs without drinking any water.
I also serve this delicious dip at our tailgate parties. I never have any left over to bring home. Everyone loves it.
When deciding to make this dip, you should consider the type of tuna you're going to buy. The all white tuna will be more expensive but give your dip a milder flavor. The darker and cheaper tuna will have more of a fish taste.
If you want your tuna dip to be a bit chunkier then mix everything together in a bowl with a fork instead of using a blender. Another great seafood dip is made with Smoked Salmon.
